歴史

What is an IPA?
An IPA is a hop-forward style brewed with far more hops than a standard pale ale. Expect aromas of citrus, tropical fruit, pine and flowers, usually around 6–7% ABV, with a higher hop bitterness (IBU).
History
In the 18th–19th centuries, brewers shipping beer from England to distant India added generous amounts of hops as a preservative. The beer that survived the long voyage became known as the India Pale Ale.
