Higashikawa Aleは、2020年に東川町で初めて醸造されたクラフトビールです。「東川の美味しい水で、この町ならではのビールを」——その想いから生まれた一本が、東川町のクラフトビール文化のはじまりとなりました。以来、私たちは地元の醸造家とともに、この土地の恵みを活かしたビール造りを続けています。東川エールは、まさにすべての原点です。
旭岳の源水で醸す
北海道最高峰・旭岳の雪解け水が湧き出す「大雪旭岳源水」。私たちはこの水を1トンずつ直接汲みに行き、信頼する地元の醸造家のもとへ届けています。平成の名水百選にも選ばれたこの水は、ミネラルバランスに優れ、通年約6〜7℃。軽やかなセッションIPAだからこそ、水の質がそのまま味わいに表れます。
味わいの特徴
シトラスとトロピカルフルーツを思わせる華やかなホップのアロマ。すっきりとした後味で、何杯でも楽しめる爽やかさが身上です。

Higashikawa Ale is Craft Bear's flagship, first brewed in 2020. It was the very first craft beer born in Higashikawa, and the beginning of everything we do — a Session IPA that keeps the alcohol low while letting hop aroma shine.
Where Higashikawa Craft Beer Began
Higashikawa Ale was the very first craft beer brewed in Higashikawa, back in 2020. It began with a simple wish — a beer that could only come from this town, made with Higashikawa’s exceptional water — and it became the starting point of the town’s whole craft beer culture. Ever since, we’ve brewed alongside local brewers, drawing on the gifts of this land. Higashikawa Ale is where it all began.
Brewed with Asahidake Spring Water
Snowmelt from Asahidake, Hokkaido's highest peak, feeds a natural spring called Taisetsu Asahidake Gensui. We collect this water one ton at a time, directly from the source, and deliver it to our trusted local brewers. Selected as one of Japan's 100 finest waters, it is mineral-balanced and stays a constant 6–7°C year-round. In a light Session IPA, that water quality comes through in every sip.
Tasting Notes
Bright, hop-forward aromas of citrus and tropical fruit over a light body, finishing clean so you can enjoy several in one sitting.

- Hints of mango and passion fruit
- Light body with a dry finish
- Gentle, pleasant bitterness (30 IBU)
How to Enjoy
Serve well chilled as your first pour on a warm day. It pairs beautifully with fried food, spicy dishes and seafood — an ideal companion for a Hokkaido summer, camping or the outdoors.
